The group forums are the best place for discussions, opinion exchange and information sharing.
Do all the groups have a forum?
Nope, the group creator has the option to enable or disable the forum of his/her group. However, most groups do have a forum.
Where should I post?
If you’re a member of a group that might be interested in your post, you might start a new topic on their forum, but it would be best to check if somebody has already started it, and if so, post in that one.
If there’s not a group of that interest, you might consider opening one. If so, leave the forum enabled, start the topic and invite your friends and spread the word. Someone will eventually respond.
If you don’t want to open a new group just for one topic, find a “Cafe“-like group in your language where all unsorted topics are welcome.
The Group Forums Directory
This is the home page of all the forums on reSabi. There’s a list of the latest 20 topics, the freshest forums and the topic tags.
Create a new topic
To create a new topic just go to the forum you selected and fill in the form you’ll find on the forum home page, just below the topic list.
If you’re in the forums directory, click the New Topic button near the page title and the posting form will appear just below it.
Using the BBCode
You can add some BBCode features using the buttons above the post text area or by entering them manually. The BBCode looks something like this:
[URL=http://resabi.com]This is a link to reSabi[/url]
Roll over each one to see what they’re for.
Embedding images and videos
The part on reSabi is extremely easy: You just copy the url of the image (on Flickr) or video (on YouTube, MetaCafe, Vimeo…) and paste it in the posting text area.
If you want to add an image from your PC, first you have to upload it to Flickr, and then follow the previous step.
If you prefer to add images from other websites than Flickr, there’s another pretty easy option. Click on the IMG button and enter the url there or add [img] and [/img] around the url. The effect is pretty much the same.
